What to expect with KG Inspections

  • Book your inspection with ease           .

  • After you book your inspection you will be provided with my pre-inspection agreement that outlines what is and what is not included in the inspection. The inspection cannot begin without the agreement being signed.

  • During the inspection you're welcome to accompany me for the through walkthrough. The duration of the inspection can range from 2-5 hours.

  • Once the inspection is complete I will write you a detailed report with a summary of any defect items that need attention or further evaluation from a qualified contractor.

  • In your inspection report, I will also include any recommended routine maintenance. I use a third party company called Porch. Porch can get you in contact with qualified contractors, movers, etc. They can point you in the right direction, if you choose. If you do not want to be contacted by Porch, you can simply opt out once prompted when your completed inspection link is emailed to you.

What is a Home Inspection?

A home inspection is essentially a “visual snapshot” of a home’s condition as it exists at the time of the inspection, and that condition is described in a comprehensive written report.

A home inspection consists of a non-invasive physical examination of a home's systems, structures, and components intended to identify material defects that exist at the time of the inspection. The heating and cooling equipment is activated along with operating plumbing fixtures, testing accessible electrical outlets and fixtures, and operating a representative sampling of doors and windows. A visual inspection of the roof, crawl spaces, walls, and drainage adjacent to the home are included.
